C++*C# Software Engineer - £30k to £50k p.a. DOE - Cambridge
Software Engineer with C++, C# and OO is required for our real-time software solution. Essential requirement is knowledge of calling and implementing COM objects. A 1st in a Maths or Computing degree is required. Any of the following would also be beneficial: MTS, ATL, STL, COM+, HTML, and XML along with Trading, Market*Credit Risk or a general business knowledge of any of the following market areas: Derivatives, Forex, Equities or Fixed Income. Successful candidates will have at least three years of professional experience in C++, C# and OO.
The job involves working on a real-time, straight-through trading, portfolio analysis, risk management and processing solution. This product`s advanced portfolio analytics are used at both the desk and enterprise level for a consistent view of market and credit risk across an organisation. There will be many opportunities encompassing the various roles within the development team including looking into leading edge technologies (such as .NET) and how best to utilise them to move the product forward. The individual will be working in a highly skilled development team of forty developers supported by numerous business analysts - many of whom are former traders or quants - and QA engineers.
